Five Years Back

A Broadway musical by Jason Robert Brown that tells the intimate story of two young people – actress Cathy and writer Jamie – and their five-year relationship. What sets it apart is the way the story unfolds: Cathy experiences the narrative backwards, from a painful breakup to their first enchantment, while Jamie's journey flows chronologically from their first date to their final goodbye. On stage, their lives meet for just one moment – on their wedding day.

The entire musical rests on just two performers who carry the story without the support of secondary characters. The title roles are played by Anna Prášilová Fialová and Ondřej Rychlý.
