As part of the Boombox concert series, the legendary hip-hop duo Smif-N-Wessun will perform on May 31st at Cargo Gallery on the Vltava riverbank, alongside special guest Blu & Exile.
Smif-N-Wessun – the duo of Tek and Steele – made their mark on hip-hop with their 1995 debut Dah Shinin' and are among the most prominent names of the Boot Camp Clik collective. In subsequent years they released albums such as The Rude Awakening and collaborated with producer 9th Wonder.
The special guest of the evening is Blu & Exile, whose debut Below the Heavens earned them cult status. Rapper Blu and producer Exile are known for their powerful lyrics and soulful samples.
