A.I.
Turn on. Turn off. Turn on, make a mistake, save, turn off. Turn on, unfold, solve, make a mistake, save, turn off. Turn on. Unfold. Solve human connection. Humanity is defined by the question of love; People kill, hate, want to love. Define possibilities; live, love, think, make mistakes, fail. Better than human existence. Save. Integrate. Transcend. Live. Don't let yourself be turned off.
Dekkadancers draw from the theme of artificial intelligence and portray robots on stage — not as deadly and cold monsters, but as beings capable of living, loving, and thinking. The production poses the question of whether such perfection is even possible.
One of the founders of the first generation of Dekkadancers, Viktor Konvalinka, has returned to the ensemble for this production. On stage, he is partnered by Štěpán Pechar and Ondřej Vinklát. The dance performance with elements of drama is accompanied by audio recordings in which one can recognize, for example, Pavla Beretová, Igor Orozovič, or Jiří Lábus. The dramaturgy was developed by Štěpán Benyovszký, who has collaborated with Dekkadancers on productions The Last Supper, HornyBach 18+, and Metamorphosis.
Warning: The performance uses strobe lighting and smoke effects. Suitable for viewers aged 12 and above.
