KAZAKHSTAN | Travel Lecture

A travel lecture by Ladislav Halačka focused on Kazakhstan – the 9th largest country in the world with an area of 2.7 million km² and 20 million inhabitants.

During the 1.5-hour presentation, you will progressively visit the capital city Astana, Almaty with views of the Tian Shan peaks and the mountain ridges there. You will see the Medeo ice rink, local markets with regional specialties, and a horse show. The lecture also includes a presentation of the traditions and customs of Kazakh nomads and a visit to the legendary Baikonur Cosmodrome. The journey concludes with a stay by the Caspian Sea in the city of Aktau.
