Images of Love - Black Light Theatre

The multimedia show Images of Love combines elements of black light theatre with film projections and live scenes. The premiere took place on 11 October 2024. The entire performance is wordless — it communicates through visual metaphors, illusions, and interaction with the audience. From the first meeting of two people, through the excitement of first dates and dance evenings, audiences are immersed in a dream world where love develops and transforms. Dreams lead to a many-armed goddess symbolizing the diversity of love, but also to dark nightmares.

The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes without intermission and takes place in an authentic 15th-century Gothic cellar at Řetězová Street 7, Prague 1 — with only 50 seats. Audiences sit at the same level as the performers. Concept, direction and choreography: Theodor Hoidekr. Original music: Theodor Hoidekr; also Mayank Singh / India (scene "Stars"). Music used: Coldplay – A Sky Full of Stars, Sting – Desert Rose, Patrick Swayze – She's Like the Wind, Shakira – Waka Waka, AC/DC – Highway to Hell, Koutev Bulgarian National Ensemble – Bre Petrunko.

The performance won 2 awards at the international theatre festival in India "Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2025". Photography is permitted (without flash). The theatre opens 30 minutes before the start; late arrival does not allow entry.
