Three friends set out on a journey through the forest – but their expedition is not led by a pig or a squirrel, but by a small oak sapling. He wants to prove to his father that trees can move, so he uproots himself and leaves his native forest.
Will he manage to climb the mountain peaks and survive in the desert? What will happen when he meets people? And will the oak sapling without roots lose his mind? A restless forest gang will answer these questions through storytelling and song.
