The band Hurts entered the charts in 2010 following the release of hugely successful singles "Wonderful Life" and "Stay". Their debut album "Happiness" was released in August of that year and immediately climbed to the top of the charts across Europe; it entered the British charts at number 4 with more than 25,000 copies sold in its first week.

The Great Hall is the centrepiece of Lucerna Palace in central Prague, completed in 1920 as one of the city's first reinforced-concrete structures. Spanning three underground levels, it is 54 m long, 25.5 m wide and 9 m high, with a concert capacity of up to 4,000 visitors. The hall hosts concerts of all musical genres as well as balls. Past performers include Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Since 2017, Lucerna Palace has been a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
