Johana Klára Kratochvílová

Johana Klára Kratochvílová presents a solo concert for cimbalom. Her current work with the instrument draws from experience in both classical and more experimental settings, remaining open-ended — rather than a closed project, it is an exploration of where the cimbalom can go in her hands. In the composition Disunited Synergy, she will combine the sound of cimbalom, voice, and electronics.

For her playing, she has won numerous awards and has performed as a soloist with the Brno Philharmonic, Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra, and South Bohemian Philharmonic. A few years ago, she gained attention in the duo Thyme, where together with Martin Dominik Kratochvíl she explored the possibilities of the cimbalom in combination with electronics.

Entry functions as voluntary (supporter) admission — it is not a classical ticket, but an opportunity to contribute to the programme's operation. Contributions directly enable artist fees, production, and the maintenance of the space.
