Miloš Ševčík: Resonance

The exhibition Resonance presents a survey of the work of Miloš Ševčík (1939–2007) from the 1960s until 2007. It traces the transformation of his artistic language in painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture – from figurative and allegorical motifs to semi-abstract biomorphic structures.

Curator Jolana Pastor does not view Ševčík's work as a linear development, but as an emotional and mental map of one creator who, through figure and biomorphic structures, seeks the essence of human existence. His work captures the dynamics of growth, decay, and the quiet energy of life, oscillating between concrete form and its dissolution.
