Friday – Dance: Žižkostel in Motion 2026

The third edition of the Žižkostel in Motion festival runs from July 20–24 in the iconic main hall of Žižkostel. In addition to workshops for adults, it offers daily afternoon classes for parents with children. The programme brings together contemporary dance, voice work, contact and theatrical improvisation, new circus, and movement theatre – the festival features prominent figures from the Czech independent scene, including Ridina Ahmedová, Věra Ondrašíková, and Alžběta Tichá.

All-day admission includes all workshops. Friday programme:

- 15:00–16:00 Michaela Kadlčíková and Matyáš Ramba: Movement workshop for parents with children
- 16:30–18:00 Sabina Palán Bočková: Contemporary dance
- 18:15–19:45 Michaela Kadlčíková and Matyáš Ramba: Dance partnering and acrobatics basics
- 20:00–21:30 Věra Ondrašíková: Contemporary dance
