Fragmenty + Směr + Meekot

Three bands on the programme: the launch of Fragmenty's new double single, the first Prague performance of the band Směr, and a concert by Meekot.

Fragmenty is a Prague-based musical group working at the intersection of folk, jazz, and alternative music. The band features Sarah Köverová (vocals, lyrics), Karča Gregorová (vocals), Tadeáš Lorenc (guitar), Peter Markovský (bass), Daniel Thein (keyboards), and Matěj Kavan (drums). The ensemble has gradually expanded from the original duo of founders Sarah Köverová and Františka Padevětová to include additional musicians and unconventional instruments – from tin whistles, flutes, and harmonicas to a handmade vozembouch.

Směr is a rock/rock'n'roll band from Letohrad that formed at the turn of 2020. Their original compositions blend rock, rock'n'roll, and punk elements with poetic and often critical lyrics focused on social issues or personal perspectives on the world.

Meekot consists of four friends whose original songs combine rock, pop, folk, and jazz with an emphasis on vocal harmonies.
