Never Sol: Rest Your Wound On Mine Album Release + Orinoko

Producer, vocalist and sound artist Never Sol releases her third full-length album Rest Your Wound On Mine, which she will premiere on Friday, May 29, 2026 at MeetFactory in Prague's Smíchov district.

The new album arrives nearly a decade after her previous work CHAMALEO and is the result of a five-year process of gradually loosening forms and structures. The record is released by the Stoned to Death label. Improvisation on modular synthesizers during live performances played a crucial role in the shift toward a more abstract, less song-based approach. "I eventually returned to the song form because it feels natural to me. But this time it emerged from a process where I gradually deconstructed the compositions into looser abstraction and reassembled them. Improvisation allowed me to respond to time, space, and the listener. I think the material reached a shape that works," says Never Sol.

The album was created primarily on the Prophet 8, modular systems and other synthesizers combined with vocal effects. Heavily processed vocals with pronounced distortion accompany building synthesizer textures transformed into the album's monumental sound. The key single Accord, recorded during a residency at New York's Grey Nivas, features vocals from American musician Monika Khot (Nordra).

The evening will open with a solo set by Orinoko – a Prague-based music project oscillating between delicate noise and harsh ambient, whose collages combine field recordings, punchy beats and pulsing synthesizer waves. Orinoko will release their debut EP in June under the favu label collective.
