Bárka in the Barn

Bárka is an instrumental duo formed by Ivana Pokorná, harpist of the National Theatre Orchestra in Prague, and Pavel Barnáš, cellist of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and long-time director of the Okolo Třeboně festival.

The duo performs world and Czech evergreens, film melodies, and jazz standards arranged for Celtic harp and cello — always from memory, without sheet music or a conductor. Their repertoire ranges from classical music through jazz to film scores.

This time they will perform at the Stodola U Stehlíků barn in Nový Šaldorf-Sedlešovice.
