Mopslíkem z lásky

Three bittersweet and darkly comic one-act plays by French dramatist and poet: "The Radiant Twins", "The Grand Vizier" and "Edward and Agrippina". Each is infused with sincere romantic passion, bigamy, infidelity, love triangles or self-love — and each culminates in an unexpectedly happy crime.

In all three plays, two men and one woman always appear. Their entanglement, initially romantic or at least tolerable, inevitably transforms into tragicomedy: the characters are thrown into absurd situations and forced to act even more absurdly — if not downright madly. Yet the comedy, wit and humour never falter for a moment.
