Hybrid Sessions #59

Hybrid Sessions is a monthly event at Kampus Hybernská. Each edition begins with a short improvised performance by two musicians who have not played together before and ideally come from different musical scenes. After the concert, an open jam session follows for all musicians regardless of genre. Basic backline (drums, guitar combo, PA, piano) is provided.

For the 59th edition, Martin Janíček (custom musical instruments – sculptures) and Martin Schulze (trombone) will perform.

Martin Janíček is a sound artist, sculptor, and musician who explores the acoustic qualities of various materials and creates his own musical instruments. Martin Schulze is a German trombonist and organizer associated with the Dresden club Hanse 3.

Since October, the organizers have been open to suggestions for band compositions, with the event continuing to remain an experimental open platform – the organizers therefore want to avoid performances by already-existing ensembles.
