A Czech comedy following a range of quirky characters of different ages, temperaments, and professions, each seeking happiness in their own way. Brewery friends send a message in a bottle, a desperate young man gets horns put on him by his own brother, two loners are brought together by a crude parrot, an inventor battles a fateful prophecy, a couple in their fifties are caught off guard by unexpected sexual fantasies. A seducer with a talent for fathering twins gets both his girlfriend and mistress pregnant, a young woman rents out her womb to a wealthy couple, an emigrant returns to find an old love. Completing the cast are a hundred-year-old cyclist on a journey around the world, a prison guard still pursued by his favourite inmate even after release, and a passionate bowler and even more passionate home nudist.
