Vladimir 518, Epos 257 – This Word Doesn't Exist in America at All

The exhibition explores the phenomenon of housing-estate entertainment in the spaces of the former Galaxie multiplex. Artists Vladimir 518 and Epos 257 examine situations where imitation of American models met the eccentric ethos of the transformation era. The exhibition reflects the history of the normalization-era housing estate and the clash between socialist utopia and early Czech capitalism.
