The exhibition explores the phenomenon of artistic partnerships – the relationships of married or life couples whose personal and creative paths unfolded against the backdrop of twentieth-century historical upheavals. It shows how creativity often emerges through dialogue between two people and how their relationships were reflected in the choice of themes, techniques, and style.
