Arnošt Goldflam's play explores the fates of four actresses through conversations and encounters in a theatre dressing room. Maria is welcoming a new man into her life, Truda's husband is leaving her — not for the first time. Young Klára dreams of a role and theatrical success, while Líza grapples with the meaning of an acting career. Across four generational layers, personal and professional struggles intertwine for all four characters.
