Vladimír Merta brings his trio with guests Jan Hrubý and Ondřej Fencl to Zámek Dobřichovice on Monday, 8 June 2026. This is one of two Czech dates on his tour, with the second stop in Pardubice at the end of September. The Baroque castle sits in the Berounka valley near Prague and features an English park alongside cultural facilities for concerts and events. The programme includes Astrolog, Chtít chytit vítr, and Variance na renesanční téma. Admission from 350 CZK.

About the venue: Dobřichovice Palace

A late Baroque château on the bank of the Berounka river in Dobřichovice, originally built as a Renaissance summer residence for the Grand Masters of the Knights of the Cross with the Red Star in the early 16th century. After a fire in 1779 it was rebuilt in its current three-wing form with a square tower. Since 2004 the town has leased it as a cultural and social centre, hosting exhibitions, concerts, wine festivals and weddings. The chapel of St. Jude Thaddaeus forms part of the complex.

Ondřej Fencl (b. 1981, Prague) is a Czech guitarist, keyboardist, singer, composer, and lyricist (Lenka Dusilová, Olympic). Since 2007 he has led Luboš Pospíšil's band 5P, and he founded the Prague folk-rock group Hromosvod. He also collaborates with Marsyas (Oskar Petr), Vladimír Merta, and Schodiště, and has written for Lidové noviny and Právo.
