Alcarràs

The Solé family spends every summer harvesting peaches in their orchard in Alcarràs, a small village in Spanish Catalonia. This year's harvest, however, may be their last – they face eviction. New plans for the land, including the felling of peach trees and the installation of solar panels, create a rift in this large family and confront them for the first time with an uncertain future.

Carla Simón, known for her debut Summer of '93, once again draws from her experience of rural life in the Catalan landscape, where human activity is part of a cycle governed by the seasons.
