Two married couples who don't know each other meet on a shared holiday in Croatia — their children have decided to bring them along. To help the parents get acquainted on neutral ground, the engaged couple rents them a bungalow for a week on one of the remote Croatian islands.

The prospect of a calm and conflict-free introduction quickly falls apart. The Adriatic idyll turns into a Balkan nightmare, and the kind-hearted parents transform into modern-day Montagues and Capulets, determined to do everything in their power to prevent their children's wedding from ever taking place.
