Dana Chytilová's chanson recital honouring Hana Hegerová takes place on Sunday, 31 May 2026 at Divadlo U Jelena in Bystřice. This is one of nine Czech dates on the tour, which also visits Benátky nad Jizerou, Neratovice, Třebíč, Lysá nad Labem, Loučeň, Olomouc, Jihlava and Prague. The programme features timeless Czech chanson songs including Milord, Lásko prokletá, Levandulová and Čerešně, accompanied by pianist Radim Linhart. Divadlo U Jelena on Ješutovo náměstí offers a flexible stage suited to intimate concert productions. Admission from 290 CZK.

About the venue: Theatre U Jelena

Divadlo U Jelena is a drama and puppet theatre in Bystřice (Benešov district), housed in the Dům U Jelena building on Ješutovo náměstí. Reconstructed in 2012, it features a flexible proscenium stage (4.5 × 4.9 m) equipped for both marionette performances on long strings and straight drama, as well as lectures and talks. Several amateur ensembles are based here; annual events include the Ludvík Němec Theatre Festival and the Days of Puppet Theatre.
