"...I'll Catch You, Lavender Love..." A Tribute to Hana Hegerová

A chanson recital by Dana Chytilová honours the memory of Hana Hegerová, the queen of Czech chanson, on what would have been her 95th birthday in 2026. The programme features timeless songs including Milord, Lásko prokletá, Levandulová, Čerešně, Denim Blue and more. Radim Linhart accompanies on piano. The project tours across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Dana Chytilová's CD "V mladé duši spoutaná" featuring songs by Hana Hegerová and original Czech compositions will be available for purchase at the concert, including the track "I bodlák může kvést" (composed by Lenka Marková). In 2025, this song received Gold and Platinum Czech Top Twelve awards in the Czech Radio Dvojka chart, spent 19 weeks in the rankings and reached number one 12 times.
