Vodopád
The Slovak band Vodopád was founded in 1983 and is a long-standing representative of country and bluegrass in its region. Over four decades of existence, it has released the album "Keď hviezda padá" and organizes the international Country za stodolou festival. The current six-member lineup builds on traditional rhythms, instrumental solos, and vocal expression.

BG Nova
The Brno-based bluegrass and country band BG Nova was founded in 1974 by Petr Schäfer. The band is a two-time winner of the Porta festival and has performed at numerous international festivals, including the Dutch EWOB. In the 1990s it fell silent for 15 years — partly due to the untimely death of sound engineer Jaroslav Pořízka and the tragic death of musician Milan Žourek. In 2009, former members revived it.

The current lineup consists of three founding members — Vladimír Bican (guitar), Pavel Dokoupil (bass guitar) and Rudolf Hecl (banjo, guitar) — and three others: Zbyněk Sedláček (mandolin), Gustav Vichta (bass guitar, guitar) and Jaroslav Zahradník (dobro). The main singers are Pavel "JOE" Dokoupil and Gusta Vichta.
