Obsession

Bear (Michael Johnston) is an ordinary young man whose love for his colleague Nikki (Inde Navarrette) is as intense as his shyness and inability to ask her out. In a seedy pawn shop, he buys a dubious toy that, according to its instructions, can grant him one wish – any wish at all. Bear doesn't hesitate: he wants Nikki to love him.

The result arrives almost immediately. Nikki is madly, passionately, dangerously in love with Bear. The more it bothers him, the colder his feelings become, but Nikki remains obsessed with him and begins to behave increasingly erratically because of this romantic imbalance.

A somewhat frightened Bear would like to return his wish, but the shop owner gives him advice he didn't want to hear: the wish's magic can only be ended by death – preferably his own.
