Techtle Mechtle revue - Hostinec u Maruny - MĚKASS Vejprty

Techtle Mechtle revue presents a new theatrical comedy, Hostinec u Maruny. All productions by the ensemble are carefully crafted theatrical works with elaborate sets and over 80 costumes – all roles, including female characters, are performed exclusively by men.

This time, the gentlemen Lukáš, Martin, Nikolas, and Jarek, together with dancers Štěpán, Say, and Dan, visit a Czech village pub where the strong-willed innkeeper Maruna runs a tight ship over her business and regular customers. The story unfolds during preparations for a firefighters' ball and features Czech humor, romance, a pub brawl, and traditional pub songs. The script, dialogue, music, and set and costume designs are original creations by the ensemble members.
