Conference Together for Terramation

Francouzský institut, Prague

from 1250 Kč · ≈ 51 €

Terramation (natural organic reduction) is an ecological burial method that allows the human body to return to nature's cycle as fertile soil. Compared to cremation, it has significantly lower environmental impact.

The Last Trace Association organizes the conference to open professional discussion on the possibility of adopting this burial method in the Czech Republic. The main guests are German partners Stiftung Reerdigung and Meine Erde, who practice terramation in northern Germany and will present it for the first time to the Czech professional and general public. The conference will also feature Czech and German experts in funeral services, ecology, architecture, religious studies, and ceremonial practices, funeral service operators, political representatives, and government officials.
