In the 1980s, many recordings were made in Los Angeles featuring guitarist Lee Ritenour and pianist Dave Grusin. Ritenour's nickname inspired the name of this ensemble of musicians who want to revisit some of these recordings together with other fusion jazz evergreens from that era.
