The Gardener

"Did I bother you?" – "You didn't!" – "You didn't?" – "But now you're bothering me!"

Two sons arrive at their father's garden cottage to celebrate his birthday. But the reunion becomes complicated and the celebration never happens. Will they find a way out of the deadlocked situation – understand each other, forgive, and respect one another?

This original production by Jiří Š Hájek, artistic director of Divadlo v Řeznické, is created in collaboration with dramaturg Luboš Sůva and explores the crisis of fatherhood – a question that touches all layers of society.
