The Four Elements evening is dedicated to a musical dialogue between the accordion and other instruments. On stage will meet Mihails Olehovs (accordion), Ráchel Skleničková (piano), Milan Arner (clarinet) and Eva Blažková (vocals). Guests of the evening will be Jana Rambousková (piano) and Daria Kassina (violin).
The programme connects Bach's Baroque world with the rhythm of tango by Astor Piazzolla and Gorky Hermosa, and will also feature Václav Trojan's Tales and music by Alfred Schnittke.
The highlight of the evening will be the composition Four Elements by contemporary Czech composer Tomáš Illey in a new chamber arrangement — the orchestral version had its premiere in December of last year at Prague Castle.
