An American apartment building, three virtually identical apartments on the sixth floor, three seemingly independent stories – and from this unassuming situation emerges an avalanche of misunderstandings, jealous scenes, flirtations, and spicy adventures.
The play is by John Patrick (1905–1995), an American playwright and screenwriter, winner of an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay (the film "The Teahouse of the August Moon", 1954) and the Pulitzer Prize. "Sex in the Sixth Floor" is one of his most celebrated plays.
