The Song of What Was Lost (in Czech)

took place · 25 May 2026

Palác Akropolis, Prague

Description was written before the event

The production "The Song of What Was Lost" by Theatre NIE is a philosophical performance for children aged 6 and up and their adult companions. It combines live music, colours, storytelling and humour with questions that the audience may not have considered before — or thought they were alone in asking.

Where is the friend who moved away? The grandmother who passed away? The other sock? The performance searches for the place where everything we have lost lives — somewhere between dream and reality, between what was and what is already gone.

Theatre NIE is an international ensemble combining physical theatre, various languages, live music and storytelling. It is created by artists from the Czech Republic and various European and non-European countries.
