Flow: Voices from Rivers, Rocks and Sky — Bio Oko, Prague
Description was written before the event

On cliffs, wild waters and high in the air - the world premiere of the international documentary FLOW takes us into the world of women pushing boundaries in climbing, highlining and extreme kayaking. From Czech sandstone towers through Amazon rapids and Canadian wilderness to the Indian Himalayas, this full-length independent film follows the stories of women facing physical challenges, societal stereotypes and systemic barriers. Raw landscapes form the backdrop for intimate conversations about women's experiences in outdoor environments.

Director Jan Považan and the creative duo Czech Vibes adapted the book of the same name into a visual narrative about courage, determination and finding one's own path in nature and society. The film was created in an American-Czech-Canadian co-production and is now embarking on a world premiere tour.

The screening will be attended by director Jan Považan and protagonist and co-producer Denisa Krásná, who will participate in a discussion after the film. The book Flow: Women's Counternarratives from Rivers, Rock, and Sky will be available for purchase in English.

Before the premiere, at 18:00, Lukáš Cígler will take us on a solo trek across the entire main ridge of the Pyrenees. A discounted 2-for-1 ticket for the entire evening is available at biooko.net/diaky.
