The Phantom of the Opera

The Palais Garnier in Paris reopens its doors. A young dancer named Anastasia joins the company and, during rehearsals of the supposedly cursed opera Orpheus, begins a relationship with a mysterious pianist. As the premiere approaches, unexplained events unfold in the theatre, and the legend of the Phantom comes alive once more.

This is the first French film adaptation of the story made for cinema, directed by Alexandre Castagnetti. The plot is set in contemporary times and centres on dark romance, obsession, and the theme of fateful love.
