Folk:lore: Not Just a Stand Up Evening at Mucha Foundation Art Museum — Mucha Foundation Art Museum, Prague

Comedian Kateřina Hašková explores folklore at Mucha Foundation Art Museum - traditional costumes, folk songs full of tragedy, love and absurdity, and the differences between Bohemia and Moravia that certainly don't end with slivovitz.

Alfons Mucha drew from folk culture throughout his life. Comedian Kateřina Hašková looks at it somewhat differently - with exaggeration, self-irony, and the question of what is beautiful in our traditions, what is absurd, and what wouldn't pass today without a trigger warning. The stand-up takes place right among Art Nouveau paintings and works equally well with traditional costume or jeans.

The ticket price includes a guided tour of the exhibition, during which visitors will learn where Slavic tradition and folk culture are hidden in Mucha's work.

Evening programme:
- Guided gallery tour focusing on folklore motifs and Slavic inspirations in Mucha's work
- Welcome drink
- Stand up by Kateřina Hašková about folklore with a twist
- Duration: 1.5 hours
