BBBBBBB + Yarrdesh

Japanese experimental band BBBBBBB brings their own genre "Victory Hardcore" to Prague's Cross Club - an explosive mix of digital hardcore, noise, industrial and trap that combines extreme sonic aggression with positive energy. The concert takes place on 25 October at Cross Club.

The project from Nagoya is led by producer and vocalist Saionji, vocalist Sawa and dancer MRO. Their music builds on contrast between raw wildness and unbridled optimism - crushing beats and cold industrial alternate with unexpected twists and raw stage presence. Saionji has contributed to three tracks on the acclaimed album The Adept by Kenyan vocalist Lord Spikeheart.

The band formed in 2020, but their sound quickly spread beyond Japan. The album Positive Violence (2023) was released on the American label Deathbomb Arc, which also has clipping. and JPEGMAFIA in its catalogue, and received attention from media outlets like The Wire and The Japan Times. After touring the USA, Korea and China and releasing the EP SHINPI, BBBBBBB is coming to Prague for the first time. Given the loudness of the production, earplugs are recommended and practically essential in the front rows of Cross Club.

Yarrdesh is a rural, cheerful, satanist and somewhat mundane jihadist project that mutated from harsh noise-break-speed core with chaotic time signatures, breaks and dissonant harmonies into technical death metal with the same approach.
