Sunday Dixie: J. J. Jazzmen & Luci Radecka

The J. J. Jazzmen band was founded in 1993 under the leadership of Jan Jirucha, who gave the band his name. With their programme Remembrance of Louis Armstrong, they have performed in Germany, Denmark, the USA, England, France, Switzerland and Italy.

In 2000, clarinetist Joe Muranyi, a former bandmate of Louis Armstrong and member of his "All Stars", was a guest with J. J. Jazzmen in Prague and Berlin. A year later, the band played in the very cradle of jazz - in May 2001 they performed in Louis Armstrong's birthplace at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
