Pulz: I Love You Honey Bunny + Teige
Prague band I Love You Honey Bunny performs at Palác Akropolis in late October with a set they first played in full at Sziget Festival 2025. The concert will be complemented by audiovisual projections by artist Roman Gordienko, with special guests Marie April and Miroslav Patočka from the band teepee.
The programme features nearly the complete repertoire of their third album Don't Look When I'm Changing - energetic guitars, aggressive synthesizers and distinctive melodies continuing the sound and atmosphere of their previous record We Just Had a Wonderful Time (2023). The singles Kintsugi, Under the Weather and Playground Friends showcase the breadth of the new album, created in collaboration with producers Steven Ansel (UK) and Koen van de Wardt (NL) at Brighton Electric Studios and STMPD Studios, partly also at Prague's Space Tape studio.
The band sings in English and performs primarily abroad - they have over 500 concerts across Europe, toured Canada and performed at festivals including Sziget (Hungary) and Envol et Macadam (Canada). At home they have played Rock for People and Colours of Ostrava.
Teige is an alternative-pop band from Kutná Hora, now based in Prague. In autumn 2025 they released their debut album "květiny nonstop", which earned a nomination for Discovery of the Year at the Vinyl music awards and received critical acclaim. The original trio has expanded to a five-member lineup - Veronika Sirotková (vocals, keyboards), Adam Sirotek (guitar, vocals), Dominika Albrechtová (vocals, keyboards), Mikuláš Bébr (bass) and Lukáš Brabec (drums). Their Czech-language songs explore the period between late adolescence and life expectations beyond their hometown, musically combining synthesizer textures, guitar lines and distinctive female vocals.
The PULZ series at Palác Akropolis is curated by Refresher editor-in-chief Vojtěch Tkáč. The evening takes place in collaboration with Akropolis Underground.
