Winternitz Villa is a masterpiece by world-renowned architect Adolf Loos and his partner Karel Lhota. The house was built in 1931–32 for lawyer Josef Winternitz and his family and is now registered as a cultural monument.

About the venue: Winternitzova vila

Winternitz Villa in Prague's Smíchov district is a functionalist building from 1931–1932, designed by Adolf Loos and Karel Lhota for lawyer Josef Winternitz. It was the last project completed during Loos's lifetime and is a listed cultural monument. Since 2017 the villa has been open to the public as a gallery, offering guided tours, exhibitions, a cultural programme, and experiential overnight stays.
