TONFA

TONFA is a Polish rap underground duo featuring Karuzelkaaa and kierat.

Their music draws from hip hop while incorporating punk, grime, noise, and electronic music, positioning TONFA naturally within the broader Polish independent scene. Though the duo emerged from the underground, they quickly gained attention from artists like Włodi and Brodka, appearing at major Polish festivals including Open'er, Unsound, Męskie Granie, and Up To Date.

Live, TONFA performs in an expanded lineup with DJ Zeten and drummer Wojtek Perczyński, their concerts built on the interplay of live drums and turntablism.

From their debut EP TONFA (2019) through the eclectic and conceptual album KLĄTWA (2021) to the more experimental EP PLUTA, the duo has progressively developed their own sound - raw, dark, and charged with psychedelic tension. This evolution culminates in the album TRZECIA SZYNA, where TONFA moves freely across rap subgenres - from classic structures through drill to dancehall - collaborating with Polish and international artists.

TONFA doesn't conform to the scene; they consistently build their own sound and aesthetic.
