PARALLAX: Michal Pustějovský

The exhibition "Parallax" by Michal Pustějovský presents a collection of polished aluminium images, projections, and data structures that move at the boundary of image, information, and space.

The artist works with light as an active element that transforms the perception of the work depending on the viewer's movement, angle of view, and lighting intensity. Digital landscapes and numerical records are created through mechanical polishing of aluminium plates and, with the aid of light, generate changing optical situations at the intersection of physical object and immaterial image. The exhibition also includes works based on binary code, including the realization of Binary self portrait from 2008, and projections utilizing moiré effect and mechanical image movement.

The opening reception takes place on 21 May 2026 from 18:00 to 22:00 at Dimenze Výtoň Gallery. The exhibition runs from 22 May to 14 June 2026, open Friday to Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00.
