Ek Balam Ensemble | Concert

Trio Ek Balam Ensemble will perform a genre-rich fusion at Gulliver that blends ethno jazz, swing manouche, world music, and traditional Sinti jazz. The result is an acoustically rich, rhythmically compelling sound built on lightness, virtuosity, and direct contact with the audience.

The band's music draws from gypsy swing and Sinti tradition, enriched with world music elements and modern jazz improvisation. Compositions range from fast manouche rhythms to deeper ethno motifs. In the intimate club setting, spontaneity and interaction between the three musicians will shine through.

Line-up: Jan Janík - guitar, Vojtěch Emmer - guitar, Radek Cahlík - double bass.
