Seifert: All the Beauties of the World
A chamber theatre mosaic celebrating the 125th anniversary of Jaroslav Seifert's birth, offering a playful insight into the life and work of the poet.
A boy, a man, a friend, Nobel Prize laureate for literature, a courageous person, a sweet-toothed lover, a husband, a non-swimmer, a terrible dancer and cyclist, a lover of all beauty - Jaroslav Seifert takes audiences on a visit to his memories and thoughts. He appears not as a dusty classic, but as a poet with sharp eyes, bold brow, nimble tongue and a warm heart.
The production combines drama, dance and music. It is intended for both Seifert enthusiasts and audiences who have not yet engaged much with poetry, and aims to bring this significant figure of Czech literature closer to students in an unforced way.
