Crescendo: Siebeneichener Quartett

Top-tier classical music performed by a young generation of Czech musicians comes to Kino Petrohradská on Tuesday, October 20. The Siebeneichener Quartett will perform - an ensemble that won the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation Competition shortly after its formation and now plays on European stages.

The quartet consists of David Hernych, Marek Pavlica, Dorothea Dalecká Kellerová, and David Pěruška. They study at academies in Switzerland, Leipzig, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. As soloists, they have already performed with leading Czech orchestras and at New York's Carnegie Hall, and recently received an invitation to masterclasses at Juilliard School in New York.

The ensemble is the resident quartet of Salon Celetná and a scholarship holder of the Chamber Music Academy led by Tomáš Jamník. They bring a programme that combines technical precision with distinctive emotion.
