The Rockoons on the Boat - Album Launch Echoes

Prague folk'n'roll band The Rockoons started out covering their beloved Beatles, but later moved to original material. Their sound is defined by English lyrics, intricate vocal harmonies, interesting chord progressions, and exclusively live instruments - drums, electric and acoustic guitars, occasionally spiced with mandolin. All four members write, so the songs are diverse yet held together by a distinctive band sound and tight musicianship.

In 2021 they released their debut album Jesus Was A Rockoon on digital and CD. After years of work, they have now completed their second record, Living in a Bubble, coming out on vinyl as well - fourteen tracks designed to win over even listeners unfamiliar with The Rockoons.

The album launch celebration continues on Friday, October 30th aboard the Kamina boat on Dvořák Embankment, near the Dlouhá třída tram stop. Vinyl and CD copies will be available, along with a generous helping of original folk'n'roll songs.
