Swan Lake

The Scandinavian legend of the maiden Odette transformed into a swan inspired P. I. Tchaikovsky to compose lyrical, melodic music that became a hallmark of high musical Romanticism and achieved immortality through the original choreographic passages preserved from Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. Since their time, Swan Lake has represented for each new generation of soloists and entire companies an exciting challenge to demonstrate the highest level of dance virtuosity.
