We last performed at the Janáček Theatre ten years ago under the baton of Jiří Bělohlávek. We will make up for the break with conductor Vasily Petrenko, performing works by Bartók, Janáček, and Stravinsky.

About the venue: Czech Philharmonic

The Czech Philharmonic is the country's leading symphony orchestra, based at the Rudolfinum on Alšovo nábřeží in Prague. It was founded in 1894 and gave its first concert on 4 January 1896, conducted by Antonín Dvořák. The orchestra is a state-funded institution under the Ministry of Culture, currently led by chief conductor Semyon Bychkov; Jakub Hrůša takes over from the 2028/2029 season.
