Jan Dismas Zelenka: Trio Sonatas

Zelenka's cycle of trio sonatas comprises six works for chamber ensemble. Their publication in the mid-twentieth century became a decisive impulse for the modern rediscovery of Zelenka's music.

The French ensemble of virtuosos Le Chapitre returns to the festival for the second time - continuing last year's programme and presenting the second part of this sonata cycle. They are accompanied by violinist Lenka Torgersen and theorbo player Jan Čižmář.
