Concert for the Anniversary of the Republic

A festive chamber concert celebrating the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic, featuring Slovak guitarist Miriam Rodriguez Brüllová and Czech cellist Petr Nouzovský.

The combination of guitar and cello will present music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ivan Bojka, Franz Schubert, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The programme spans different eras - from Bach's compositions through the Romantic works of Schubert and Tchaikovsky to pieces by contemporary Slovak composer Ivan Bojka.

This unusual arrangement of guitar and cello will bring both well-known and lesser-known compositions in fresh arrangements.
