Jan Dismas Zelenka - Secular Vocal Collection

Jan Dismas Zelenka served at the court as senior composer and deputy Kapellmeister, a role that included providing secular vocal music for regular chamber concerts in the Dresden royal palace. The private collection of arias, duets, and cantatas he assembled for these occasions was used not only in concerts but also as study material for young Italian singers.

The programme features virtuosic vocal works performed by sopranos Gabriela Eibenová and Lenka Cafourková, accompanied by the Slovak ensemble Musica Aeterna under the direction of Peter Zajíček.
